Working with Birgitt was full of surprise for me. Her consistency and
never ending power has supported my so much in my riding. Unlike many other
trainers, Birgitt was keen on never giving up. When ever we were working
together, she would put emphasis in always making the rider to allow the horse
to work for you. For instance, working in canter pirouettes, she would not give
up working on this particular exercise unless the horse has done something that
can be rewarded. This is another point that Birgitt has taught me. At the end of
the session, the horse must feel happy. Even if Birgitt did not let me give up
doing the exercise, when she felt it was enough for the day, she would always
find a reason or does an exercise that the horse does well in order to praise
them. While being able to concentrate on such details but be able to relax at
the end certainly has left such impression on me. Thank you B.B!!
