Geraldine Holtslag
Geraldine, like so many other girls, liked horses from a young age on and
started riding ponies. Because she was born in the Netherlands she was lucky to
have the right trainer for her. This trainer discovered her talent, spoke
with her parents and almost directly Geraldine got good ponies to train together
with her trainer.
It was not a surprise that she wanted to make her living
with horses. She did what it took, she went to the best trainers and riders
(Wout-Jan van der Schans, Wim Bonhoff, Johan Hamminga, Tom Olsmeijer, Hester
Klompmaker) to learn and compete.
Geraldine showed successfully self-
educated young horses, which are now active in the international scene.
And she did her first international Grand Prix in 2008.
Geraldine speaks
plural languages, is licensed instructor (level 3) with the Dutch federation
KNHS.
Geraldine completed cum laude her university study
“Sports”, where she learned all about pedagogies, didactics,
anatomy of rider and horse.
If you like to have jump training in Europe and
even get the chance to compete in Europe, you’re in excellent
hands with Geraldine.
Individuals or groups can stay at her facility to
train, watch, compete and learn what it takes to become a better rider and
more!!!
